Eminem Reveals Cover Art, Tracklisting for New Album 'The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)'

The album is slated to arrive this Friday

Eminem has revealed the cover art and tracklisting for his forthcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). Check it out below. The album arrives this Friday, July 12.

Eminem's 12th studio effort, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), is due out later this summer. Earlier this month, Em promoted the upcoming record by publishing an obituarty in the Detroit Free Press announcing the death of his alter-ego, Slim Shady.

On the record's lead single, "Houdini," Eminem plays on the magician theme with a sample of Steve Miller Band's 1982 hit, "Abracadabra."In the Rich Lee-directed music video, a portal opens up and a bleach-blonde 2002 Eminem steps through it into the present. From there, the clip runs parallel to his "Without Me" video, with present-day Eminem setting out to find his 2002 self. The two Eminems run wild, and run into everyone from fellow rap legends Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, to Paul Rosenberg and Shane Gillis, and eventually - Pete Davidson.

Earlier this week, Eminem released the record's second single "Tobey," which features Big Sean and Babytron.

While no tour has been confirmed, Eminem has one live performance slated at the Formula 1 Pirelli United States Grand Prix on Friday, October 18.

Back in 2020, Eminem came out with his last album - Music to Be Murdered By. Released with no promotion or announcement, the record shot straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and topped Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart. The album went No. 1 in several other countries around the globe, and has since sold over 1 million copies in the U.S. alone.
