Justin Timberlake Postpones New Jersey Concert Due to Injury

Justin Timberlake has postponed his concert tonight in New Jersey. The singer was slated to perform at the Prudential Center in Newark, but shared on social media that the show will not go on as scheduled this evening. Timberlake cited an undisclosed injury as the reason for the last-minute cancellation.


"I'm so sorry to postpone tonight's show," Timberlake stated. "I have an injury that is preventing me from performing. I'm so disappointed to not see you all - but I'm working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show ya'll deserve. Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always."


After completing 53 performances across North America and Europe with rave reviews and fan response from around the globe, Justin Timberlake recently announced several new 2025 shows on his momentous The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. The newly added dates were teased last night exclusively on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and include eight new performances in the U.S. Full routing and ticketing information are available below.

 

Additionally, two Mexico City performances were added earlier last week to the massive outing, with a second show being announced due to incredible fan demand. The tour, with multiple sell outs and incredible fan demand that garnered the addition of numerous second and third shows across the globe, has sold over one million tickets thus far and spans over 60 cities across the 95-plus performances.

Tickets for the newly added shows will be available starting with Verizon and Citi (details below) on Wednesday, September 18 through Sunday, September 22. The general onsale begins Monday, September 23 at 10 am local time. Citi is the official card of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the newly added shows beginning Wednesday, September 18 at 10am local time until Sunday, September 22 at 5pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program. Verizon will offer an exclusive presale for the Justin Timberlake Forget Tomorrow World Tour in the U.S through Verizon Access, just for being a customer. Verizon Access Presale tickets for select shows will begin Wednesday, September 18 at 10am local time until Sunday, September 22 at 5pm local time.

 

The tour will also offer a variety of VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include tickets in the exclusive VIP Stage Bar section with in-seat service throughout the night, specially designed VIP gift item, early entrance into the venue, and more.


Justin Timberlake released his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought I Was, back in March. The record debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, giving Jusin his sixth consecutive Top 5 debut in the U.S. Released through RCA Records, Timberlake produced the album alongside several collaborators including Calvin Harris, Ryan Tedder, and frequent studio partner Timbaland, among others.


His last album, Man of the Woods, came out in 2018.
