Nicki Minaj is in the midst of an arena run across Europe. On May 25, Nicki was arrested in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The chart-topping rapper was detained by authorities while attempting to fly from Amsterdam to Manchester, England for the next stop on her Pink Friday 2 Tour. Police allegedy found pre-rolled marajuana joints in Minaj's luggage.

Outraged by the incident, Nicki took to her Instagram page and posted a video of the incident, claiming that the arrest was an attempt to "sabotage" her tour.

"They've been trying to stop me from coming to every show," Minaj wrote on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). "They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now, they're waiting on customs. This is what it looks like when [people] are paid big money to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everyting they've done is illegal."

After being detained for a few hours, Minaj was subsequently released with a fine, but she was not able to make it to her gig that night at Co-Op Live in Manchester, UK. The show has been rescheduled for June 3. All tickets will be honored, and additional seats are available now.

Her European run wraps up at Les Ardentes in Leige, Belgium on July 14.

Last December, Nicki Minaj release her fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2. The sequal to her eponymous 2010 debut, the record shot straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It features collaborations with rap and R&B royalty like Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, J. Cole, Drake, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Monica, and Keyshia Cole, among others. The record also topped Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and has already gone platinum in the United States. The lead single "Super Freaky Girl" gave Nicki a No. 1 Mainstream hit, and music video garnered her the MTV VMA for Best Hip-Hop Video last year.

The history-making LP is her seventh Top 10 on the Billboard 200, the most top 10 albums for a female rapper in history, and taking the top spot gave Nicki the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 by a female rapper ever.
